HONG KONG DAY1 2014

So I have set objectives for this year on what I wanted to do what I wanted to accomplish and where I want it to go and Hong Kong was on my list i’ve been here a couple times but always with someone this time I made the trip independently. Just like New York. Wanted to see if I can get around by myself and how are the translation be, anyways I booked my flight then my hotel because the last time I came to Hong Kong I miss my flight and was charged 100 and something dollars when I wasn’t even in Hong Kong so I will never book my hotel before I know I’m going to make my flight in HK. Anyways if you know when you travel overseas or not I’m going overseas usually most places going there takes longer. The flight was almost 14 hours and boring as hell anyways once I got there I already knew how to get to the hotel since I haven’t done that much by myself before. Once I checked in the hotel my room actually got upgraded and probably one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever had you can see from the photos below. And after going to my hotel I took a couple photos then fell asleep I won’t even call the jet lag was just tired. Enjoy the photos from HK day one

Set around the house did a couple chores for a little bit then got a call from Savove Chhorn he came out here from Washington and I got the pleasure of showing him around San Francisco for the brief time he was here I decided to take him to palace of fine arts, A semi roof top and a couple other places it was nice hanging out with him hopefully you got some good shots be sure to follow his Instagram @savovo

Failed adventure/rest of the week

So as of lately I’ve been shooting a lot with Viet . I called him up wanted him to shoot my car since I found a car wash that has foam in multicolors besides that has nothing to do with these photos. I drove to San Francisco to attempt to get under the Golden gate Bridge but it was a fail we took a couple wrong turns and ended up basically know where besides that we all got a couple good shots we will definitely go back once we have more time since the sun has already set by the time we figured out how to get down there.

— These photos are basically from last week when I went to show some of my family around San Francisco that came from LA wish I would’ve took more photos that day but didn’t.

— I ended up getting to San Francisco extremely late late and missed most of everything but got to snap a couple of photos when basically everybody was going home.

Was talking to do Viet he told me he was going to the city and to meet him out there so I drove to Bart and met them at Union Square after that we headed to the bus stop but ended up not catching it because it was too packed so we went to Chinatown to take some photos in the alley way after snapping some photos we were going to go to the next alleyway when I spotted a homeless man sleeping which will the first photo you see while I was snapping some photos Viet yelled out street photography and walk the homeless man up next thing I know the homeless man jumped up and said why am I taking pictures of him but realized that he did not want to fight me I’m glad he didn’t for one he was extremely dirty and smells like piss second I would not want to beat up a homeless person us I have my camera in my hand so that would’ve been taking a chance anyways after that we walked around for a little bit then got some time Ice-T

A little trip

Initially I was supposed to meet up with Shaq ,Viet and the rest of them A little earlier but ended up in about two hours of traffic from Oakland to San Francisco they picked me up in San Francisco and luckily I did get there late because if we would’ve went earlier we wouldn’t of got the same breathtaking express that we got. We were going to point rays but decided to hit up Mount Tam i’ve been here before but I was younger and don’t really have much I remember about this place I know my sister used to live over here anyways made a pitstop at 7/11 then headed up the hill after taking a stop we start seeing mountains and a lot of clouds over the horizon. It was beautiful and one of the nicest most breathtaking expenses that I’ve had in the bay area. I enjoy this adventure a lot and would like to start taking more nature shots anyways. Photoshoot , Homemade brunch

Went over to Darrin house to finally sell him my tripod now I have to spend a lot of money on buying a extremely sturdy tripod most likely I will be going with Mefoto or a manfrotto anyways I tag along with him to Lake temescal in Oakland for a photo shoot he was doing basically I was going to hold the reflector lol -__- once we got there I immediately saw a sign that read the water was basically a health hazard and later on that night watching the news they were talking about the lakes in the bay area and what’s wrong with them anyways got some cool shots for just being there watching.

The next morning I decided to make some brunch I haven’t been cooking as of lately since I’ve been traveling for the past month different places I wanted to step my culinary and cooking back up since I’m kind of rusty I will also be launching a food Instagram of all my home-cooked meals really soon hopefully I will get a good response from the Instagram community

This was the first time making house fries with whole garlic it turned out really good and I will definitely be making that again also I made black and bacon but it wasn’t really supposed to be black and I let it marinate in some sauce and it got dark but it was delicious also made eggs with dillweed on top.

SF TRIP DOWNTOWN/GGB + WEEK

Woke up this morning extremely tired from working out at the gym from 12am to 5 AM . And honestly forgot that I was going to be shooting today. But anyways I headed over to the Homie’s Sheen house and we headed out to San Francisco to meet up with joe at treasure Island after that show them one of the Embarcadero locations for a good view of the ferry building. After that we were all hungry so we went to superduper burger I haven’t been here in about six months if you haven’t tried it, it’s a must definitely always on point. After finishing the cheeseburger and garlic fries we headed to the Golden gate Bridge to snap some photos I was really trying to get a solid photo of the waves crashing into the rocks but did not have such luck but we also took some photos in the middle of the Golden gate Bridge.

Edwin hit me up and wanted to do some night photography so he came through picked me up and we headed to San Francisco , gave him some tips to doing night photography since he mostly does sneaker photography but hopefully it’s trying to get into actual photography anyways once we got to San Francisco we try to hit up some hotel rooftops but it was too late and you needed a hotel key to get up to that area after failing at that attempt we try going to this other location but the fog Creeped in really quickly and that also was a fail so really didn’t get that many shots out of that night always next time!

SF ROOF TOP

Woke up early did a couple errands talk to Viet met him at Bart then went over to San Francisco to me couple people to do some roof top photography. Chris was nice enough to let us come to his workplace to snap a couple photo. It was definitely a great experience and one that many don’t get to experience. So thank you Chris again appreciate that. After doing some rooftops we were going to go in a abandoned building but it turned out that getting it in and it was locked so we went over and found a couple hotels and took some photos that size is it a couple places and finally came up with some then went over to snap some photos of the pyramid building and San Francisco skyline. Enjoy the photos.

I woke up early this morning and headed to the Daly city area to pick up something from craigslist after that went downtown San Francisco to do a little shopping then hung out with my friend Bobby we went to eat lunch at hard Knox Café. After catching a food coma I head back to Oakland and took a short nap then Viet call me and I took bart back out to San Francisco to meet up with some friends. Tonight was flask mob this will be my fourth time going Nice to see familiar faces. I took all these photos with a Fujifilm x100 , I rarely bring my main camera to these events just because my Fuji is able to capture whatever I need i’m starting to enjoy this Camera more and more plus it’s contact and doesn’t weigh much. Enjoy the photos I include photos but normally I would just delete.

NEW YORK DAY 3 2K14

So this is part three of my New York trip Morlye day 3 but this is combined with some past stuff just to separate post anyways I went to Manhattan and ended up getting a pretty cool shot of the new World Trade Center besides that I walked around ground Zero for a little bit this place always takes me back from when I went to the World Trade Center a couple weeks before it went down in 2001 with my mom after that I ended up getting a snack since I didn’t eat anything the whole day I got this ice cream waffle it was really good.

I ended up just strolling around Manhattan for a long period of time just walking and taking some street photography shots I’m usually doing more landscape now days but wanted to do some street photography while I was here after that I went back towards the hotel.
